Teacher Training Course
With Marc Beuvain and specialist subject teachers
Commencing March 2008 – Booking period over
Transform yourself into a creative and highly competent yoga teacher
- Specialist subject teachers
- 20 hours of one to one teaching per student
- Personal development with mentor
- 500 hours training over two and a half years
Our teacher training course covers many aspects of yoga practice: asana, pranayama, meditation, chanting, an introduction to healing and much more.
Special attention is paid to each individual student’s development during their twenty hours of one to one classes. We consider the process of personal evolution involved in training to be a yoga teacher to be just as important as the acquisition of knowledge.
The teacher-student relationship is at the heart of our work. The ancient texts refer to this relationship as an essential part of the learning process in yoga.
During this course, specialist subject teachers make contributions, and the rest of the teaching is given by Marc Beuvain.
This ensures that a relationship can be established between Marc and the students, meaning that:
- The teaching can be adapted to the group. Marc knows each student personally, and can adapt the pace and level of the teaching to his students, rather than rigidly following a preconceived programme.
- The students benefit from a natural continuity, as at all times Marc knows exactly what has been taught, and how well the students understood it. He knows when they are ready to move on to the next stage, and when they need more time on a subject.
- An intimate and reassuring study environment is created. Students know their teacher well, and can express themselves in class freely and confidently.
