A powerful, yet rapidly mastered, combination of movement, awareness of the breath, and control of the mind, asana practice improves strength and flexibility….. True. That is one aspect. But there is more. So much more.
This is a workshop to bring a new dimension to your asana practice.
We will begin by examining the full potential of this yogic tool. It is, above all, a way to get back to yourself, to re-centre your being.
And it doesn’t require years of dedicated training to get there. Practices during this workshop will allow you to experience what it really feels like to be centred, here and now, as you are.
Reach your full potential
Probably the most important reason to come and give it a try though is the “off the mat” result of this kind of practice. You are the key to your own well-being. How can you transform your every day life, just by getting back to yourself?
How can you improve your relationships with yourself and with others, increase your general focus and awareness? Can your responsibilities be met more calmly and efficiently? In short, how can you reach your full potential in professional, creative, and personal domains?
The approach will be twofold – theoretical and practical:
- Holistic health: How to practice asana to obtain or maintain physical but also mental, emotional, and spiritual health.
- Adaptation: How to adapt asana to your own individual needs for a more effective practice
- Beyond the mat: How to be more centred in every day life with the help of asana.
But we won’t just talk about it, practices lead throughout the weekend will bring you immediate practical experience too.
Who can come?
This workshop is open to everybody. It promises to be as rich in revelations and experience for long-term yoga students and teachers as for beginners. Whether you are super flexible, or more on the stiff side, the practices will be adaptable to your individual needs. The only pre-requisite for this workshop is a desire to take things into your own hands and regain everyday happiness and stability.
