Marc, in a few words:
“Researcher”
Marc’s thirst for understanding and experience took him to India at 22 where he studied intensively for long periods. It also ensured he kept an open mind on his return: not one to stay stuck in a box, Marc explores spirituality from many points of view and currents.
“Student”
Firmly anchored in the belief that a good teacher is also a perpetual student, Marc continues his in depth study of yoga, with a particular passion for the Yoga Sutras and their ever-unfolding meanings.
“Therapist”
Marc has a natural ability to discover underlying causes of suffering and identify effective personalised solutions, handing full control of the healing process to each student.
“Teacher trainer”
Teacher training with Marc is as much about learning the theory as evolving personally in preparation for the responsibility of guiding others.
Rather than recipes, students learn a logic of teaching, which allows them to become independent, diversified and creative teachers.
“Illusion breaker”
Not a provider of “spa yoga” Marc’s teaching is not about taking time out from an unhealthy lifestyle to relax for a class or longer. It’s about tackling imbalance at its cause, and listening to an inner source of wisdom which will enable you to create lasting balance and happiness for yourself, on the mat and beyond.
It’s not about escaping modern living: it’s about taking an honest look at reality in all its rawness, then stepping back and applying the teachings.
“Lecturer”
With insightful and surprisingly original lecturing skills, Marc has given seminars around the world. Students appreciate his clarity, logic, and ability to apply teachings to all aspects of every day living.
You’ll never see Marc reading a pre-written lecture, it’s teaching straight from the heart: flowing fluidly, it takes
its roots in the field created between teacher and students.
“Practitioner”
Way beyond a daily session on a yoga mat, Marc uncompromisingly seeks to apply yoga as a living philosophy at every moment, with unflinching spiritual aspiration.
